Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Coordinate with other dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and insurance information - Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner - Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related questions - Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries - Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting - Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients - Proficiency in medical scheduling software such as Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems - Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical records management - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.
