Under the supervision of the superintendent, assistant superintendent, or foreman, the greenskeeper is responsible for maintaining the golf course and club grounds.
Major
Responsibilities:
Maintains greens, bunkers, clubhouse areas by including but not limited to mowing, watering, raking and trimming.
Safe operation of power equipment/machinery, hand tools, and all other tools used to complete assigned tasks.
Daily basic maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment/tools used to complete assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of and ability to use in a safe, efficient manner the operation of small equipment and other motorized equipment.
Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented.
Reliable and predictable attendance.
Ability to follow oral and written directions.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license.
Comfortable working outdoors under various conditions.
Ability for early morning shift starts (as early as 5am).
